The heirloom black chickpea of Sicily. This famous bean is a little smaller but keeps its firm texture well during long cooking times. That makes this the perfect chickpea for soups, stews, & roasts with longer cooking times but it also makes a uniquely colored hummus if allowed to cook until softened.
Our produce is all grown on our Certified Naturally Grown farm with non-GMO seed. No herbicides or pesticides used.
